you can get some 7" ePads on ebay for about $100 (so even if it isn't amazing, i won't be out tons of money)
They run android OS 1.7, 7" touch screen, 256mb ram (which kinda blows, but I'd probably crack it open to see if I could upgrade.), etc.
Still debating, but it would be kinda neat to have a cheap little tablet pc.
There's a 10.1 inch one for about 200. Better processor, same ram, sans webcam (which seems odd, the bigger, nicer one lacks the camera?).
I'm still thinking about it... it'd probably be a piece of junk, but could be neat to play with.

Yeah, I might go for the next gen to replace my Eee.
Depends on the comic reader interface though. I haven't tried it out yet because the screen on my phone is too small/low res. Suppose I could grab it just to see if it will work for me, though.

I'm not seeing any. hard to find since there isn't a specific brand or model listed, as far as I can tell. The 7 incher I was looking as it different than the one you posted, though. Similar specs, but not quite the same.  If I can snag one really cheap, I might still pick up the 7 inch one while I wait for a legit tablet pc. These are the types I was looking at 7 incher10.2 incherand if this guy weren't so expensive  One that is more like a legit tablet pc |

i looked on there a little too, seeing what people thought. if I could find the 10" one that didn't ship from china for a decent price I'd probably get it to play with while i waited for a real tablet pc to come out here, buuuuttt there are only chinamen ones |

Are there gonna be windows tablets similar to that 10.2 incher I linked? Form what I've seen, they'll mostly be android. I'd rather a windows one like that I'm not a great hardware guy, either. Are those specs on that one I linked decent? they looked okay to me, but like I said, not a hardware guy. |
