If its "background:url(Assets/InfoBG.png) no-repeat;" It only works in Chrome and FF, not in IE...

Seriously?

I tried taking it back to the root but that didnt fix shit. I closed and restarted dreamweaver and it fixed the problem.

I learned with notepad then used expression web 2 to make 2 sites and now Im learning DW while making the third. Notepad was a PITA. Expression web 2 had some nice features but it really was for just making a few pages. DW does what EW2 did but it adds in some better site management stuff.

Ive only been doing this for a few months but I think I have chosen DW as my editor of choice.

I've never found an editor I liked. I use the editor in Visual Studio a little bit, but can't get it to make things exactly the way I want without manual editing.

I dont move shit around in the "design" view or anything like that. Everything I do is manual otherwise I cant line stuff up correctly. I like how you can select a div and see all of the style sheet things that affect it. Its also nice because it gives you drop down lists when youre coding that are helpful for a beginner.

there's no reason for that statement along to not work in IE. something else is messing it up.

get firefox and install firebug so you can inspect the elements and see what the CSS is doing there. If you have IE8, you can use Tools > Developer Tools.

Don't forget that all file references within a css file must be relative to the CSS file, not the HTML file calling it.

Take it easy broseph. Get yourself a cold natty, pop your collar, and head to Hollister to pick up some visors and seersucker shorts.
