If Kirby wants to drown his sorrows in charred cow, fungus, and whiskey, followed by controlling his anal bleeding, who am I to judge him?

Victim died this weekend. They're going to try to prosecute the 14 year old shooter as an adult.

I've never understood what that means. I mean, it's not like the 14 year old is gonna get a life sentence. Gonna be like 5 years, max.

It stays on his record and stuff.  If he's convicted as a juvenile, then when he turns 18 he's free and he gets a clean slate and can vote, own a gun, and all the other things that non-felons like you (I'm assuming here) or I can do.  If he's convicted as an adult, then he's a felon and his life is pretty much fucked up forever no matter how short a sentence he has to serve.  At least that's how I understand it.

How do you know you're not a felon.

How do you know you're not, or how does he know he's not?
